10 Car Myths You Probably Believe

Leather Is Better

Leather is synonymous with luxury in most facets of life. Leather shoes, leather bags, and leather seats in cars. However, leather may not be the best option unless you’re shopping for the Rolls Royce of your dreams. Leather seats are more difficult and time-consuming to clean and wear faster than cloth seats. Fabric also doesn’t change temperature as drastically. Think about it – have you ever burned your legs on a cloth seat on a hot summer day?

Cloth seats can provide significantly more comfort during long distance driving. Car leather isn’t true quality anyway, so unless you like the look of leather over cloth, it’s best to stick to the cheaper option. This next car feature is also deemed superior by most car buffs, but just like leather it’s mostly a myth.
