Aston Martin DB5 from “Goldfinger”
The Aston Martin is a beautiful English GT made famous as “the James Bond car.” The DB series was named in honor of Aston Martin’s owner at the time, Sir David Brown. The DB5 improved from the previous DB4 Series V with an all-aluminum, 4.0 L engine, and a ZF five-speed transmission. It certainly made a statement in the James Bond movies, especially for its debut in Goldfinger. There’s good news for Aston Martin and Bond enthusiasts alike: Aston Martin is remaking the classic car, complete with a 3,995cc motor and even a rotating license plate. It can reportedly go from 0 to 60 in 7.1 seconds. It’ll be quite an investment—selling at over $3 million—but definitely worth the expense.
