Your Traveling Hotel: The Volvo 360c
Volvo knows the self-driving car will be here soon, so they’ve created the 360c, an electric car with no steering wheel which will allow owners to use it as a mobile hangout space or office. You can also use it as a hotel room – it includes a blanket and a seat that turns into a bed! There’s even a small sink for you to use for cleaning up after spending the night in the car. Voice commands rule the system of the car, although touch panels control things like temperature. Volvo has designed it to appeal to consumers who are tired of airports – the interminable lines, crowds, bad food. The Volvo 360c may one day pick you up at your home and drop you off at your destination.
You won’t find this model at the local car lot yet, but it’s coming.
