DeLorean DMC-12 Windows

1980s icon, DeLorean was a sight to be seen. Designed and headed by John DeLorean, former General Motors designer famous for his design of the original Pontiac GTO, the DeLorean DMC-12 was a technological marvel. Aside from its doggy V6 motor, it featured stainless steel body panels and unique gull-wing doors. However, the doors are where the driver can get into trouble. With a small “toll booth” style cutout in the normal glass window, it makes handing over documents to police officers and getting fast food quite the ordeal. With such a narrow opening, items that would normally pass with ease through a typical window just plain don’t fit through this tiny cutout. Definitely a unique design choice with unforeseen consequences.
