1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Re-creation
In 1969, the “Judge” package was offered to Pontiac GTO models, adding a number of features like the Ram Air III engine, Rally II wheels, Hurst shifter, wider tires and the rear spoiler.
The original 6.5-liter Ram Air III of this car was swapped for a 7.5-liter V8 engine introduced to GTOs in the following years. The engine is rated for 360 hp and 500 lb/ft of torque. Power goes through a TH400 4-speed automatic transmission and into a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.08:1 final drive ratio.
An MSD ignition system and Flowmaster mufflers complete the setup.
This Judge comes with power steering and power brakes stopping the Torq-Thrust-style 15” wheels with BF Goodrich tires.
The car has received entirely new floor and body panels during restoration, but bares the original orange-red paint associated with the early Judge models.
