Larry Fitzgerald’s 1968 Dodge Charger Custom Coupe
This Dodge Charger is custom build for professional football player and receiver for the Arizona Cardinals – Larry Fitzgerald. The sports star spared no expenses and equipped the Charger with lots of high tech goodies.
Powering the vehicle is a twin-turbo, Generation 3, HEMI V8 engine, rated for at least 357 hp and 389 lb/ft of torque, but likely making much more in this Charger. Sitting behind it is a 4L80E Hughes 4-speed automatic performance transmission putting the power in a Dana 60 rear axle.
The handling is improved with a custom 4-link suspension and coilovers, as well as new tubular front K-member.
Custom 18×8” front and 19×12” back Budnik wheels, equipped with Nitto tires and Wilwood disc brakes complete the setup.
This 1968 Dodge Charger is a high-tech drag machine, fully capable of gluing you to your seat.
