Few automakers offers an air of pride and sophistication in their product like BMW does – and no model in their lineup exudes confidence like the 7-Series. Leaked photos of the 2020 model confirm that this isn’t about to change anytime soon.
While since its inception the luxury car has appealed to those with an appreciation for the finer things in life, what is really interesting to see is the brand’s new prevalence for making their flagship sedan not just about the driver. For the second model year running, the 7-Series features exceptional rear passenger space, above and beyond what we’ve seen in previous years.
But in the new version there is one truly stop-you-in-your-tracks feature that sits front and center: a massive new front grille.
The German automaker seems to be showing the world that while it appreciates the love it gets for its cars, it does whatever it pleases. They’ve taken criticism that the 2019 X7 saw for it’s larger than life grille and thrown it back at us, by equipping the new 7-series with the same one.
While the new grille ups the aggression factor of the new 7-series, giving it a muscular edge yet unseen in the BMW sedan lineup, get ready for mixed reviews on the feature.
Once you get around the grille, you will probably notice redesigned headlights and an upgraded hood, adding to the car’s aggressive aesthetic and giving it a meaner stance, making the entire front end look larger than previous models.
Finally, under the hood tweaks have also made the car a little faster, with the 750i expected to hit 530 HP and 553 ft-lb of torque.
