Detroit, Michigan— With just a few days to go before the 30th Annual North American International Auto Show, interest is high in Detroit and around the world. Bringing together automakers and enthusiasts to celebrate the latest and the greatest in the world of cars, the NAIAS is great opportunity to kick up the excitement.
NAIAS Schedule of Events
Over 24 automobile manufacturers are scheduled to promote the show beginning with a full day of Press Conferences on Monday, January 14th. On Tuesday the 15th, International Press from around the world will have the chance to explore the high octane world of the 30th Annual North American Auto Show.
The show will feature Anders Gustafsson, Volvo USA CEO, who will keynote the 2019 NAIAS and AutoMobili-D – an exposition showcasing a global ecosystem of mobility-focused companies and organizations. The keynote will begin at 3:45 p.m. on the Atrium Stage on Monday, Jan. 14.
Wednesday and Thursday, January 16th and 17th, will feature Industry Preview days which allow tens of thousands of auto executives, engineers, and workers to have the chance to see the show before the general public.
On Thursday, January 16th, there will also be the opportunity to participate in the WXYZ hosted its annual TweetUp. This event is a great opportunity for building thought leadership and building networking opportunities within the automotive industry.
On Friday, January 18th, the North American International Auto Show will host what is billed as the “largest annual, single-night fundraiser in the world.” A black tie event geared around raising money to support community development projects around Detroit, tickets cost $400, $390 of which is tax deductible.
On Saturday, Jan. 19 the public NAIAS show opens and runs through Sunday, Jan. 27. The show is open from 9am to 10 p.m. every day, except Sunday, Jan. 27 when it is open from 9am to 7pm. Tickets are $14 per person, $7 for seniors 65 and older and $7 for children 7-12 years old. Children 6 and under are free with a parent or guardian.

30th Annual North American International Auto Show Previews
Ford
Ford is expected to show the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 at the 2019 Detroit auto show. They have already shown their 2020 Ford Explorer model in the run up to the show. The new Mustang is expected to kick with more than 700 HP.

Dodge Ram
Fiat Chrysler is likely to debut its latest version of the Ram heavy duty pick up truck.
New versions of the 2500 and 3500 are expected to be shown to the world for the first time at the Detroit show.
Toyota
Toyota is expected to show off the 2020 version of the Supra. This will be the first time in over 20 years that Toyota will release a sporty new Supra model.

Volkswagen
Volkswagen will be giving the public a first glance at its 2020 Passat in Detroit.
Nissan
Nissan is expected to participate but has been tight-lipped about its plans for the show.
GAC
Chinese Automaker GAC will try to create some positive buzz at the Detroit show buy releasing the first look of its new Entranze concept.
Lexus
Lexus will showcase its 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition.
Subaru
Subaru will offer its fans the first glances of its STI S209.

Hyundai
Hyundai has been silent about what they plan to release at the event.
Kia
The Kia Telluride is expected to feature prominently in this year’s Detroit International Auto Show. A luxury SUV concept, the Telluride is meant to capitalize on North America’s obsession with larger sport utility vehicles.
Infiniti
Infiniti is expected to unveil the latest version of its QV, a high performance electrical vehicle.
