Safety and reliability are the two outstanding features of the Buick Verano, model years 2014 or 2015. In both years the Verano earned a nearly perfect rating for reliability from J.D. Power, with very high crash test scores. The 2017 Verano also offers great safety scores and reliability, plus a smooth ride, and it earns 8.5 out of 10 from U.S. News.

Safety features abound on the 2014 and 2015 Veranos, including several driver assistance features like forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, rear cross traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring.

Consumer Reports notes the Verano is “both quiet and luxurious” and notes the older models (2012 – 2014) are modestly priced at $11-$13k.
