A Terrible Stunt Gone Wrong: Ryan Dunn [1977-2011]

Best known for doing crazy stunts and pranks on the TV show Jackass, as well as MTV’s Viva La Bam, Dunn lost his life on June 20, 2011, when his Porsche 911 crashed his car into a tree in Pennsylvania. His passenger, production assistant Zachary Hartwell, also died. Dunn was legally intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of .196, more than twice the legal limit in that state. He had also been going between 132 and 145 miles an hour. Speed and intoxication were found to be contributing factors in the crash. Only hours prior to the accident, Dunn had posted photos of himself on Twitter, drinking with Hartwell.
He also appeared in Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two and Jackass 3D.
