New De Tomaso Supercar to Debut at 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed

De Tomaso to re-launch at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Italian and Argentinian supercar producer De Tomaso will relaunch its brand at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The brand went dormant in 2005 and several unsuccessful attempts were made to resuscitate it in the years since. The current re-launch was made possible by Ideal Team Venture’s purchase of the rights to De Tomaso.

Gian Mario Rossignolo attempted to re-launch the De Tomaso brand in 2009. The project failed after Rossignolo and his son were convicted in Italy of fraud and embezzlement. They had been unable to produce a single car.

The re-launch of De Tomaso comes during the 60th Anniversary of the brand. The company is excited to use the Goodwood Festival of Speed Motor Show as the place to debut the vehicle known as Project P. #DTprojectP is a hashtag to follow to keep up to date on the development of this car.
