The Goodwood Festival of Speed is just around the corner, taking place in West Sussex, England starting on July 4 and ending on July 7.
Among the other vehicles expected to be there—Aston Martin, Bentley, McLaren, Mercedes, and Porsche—we also have some more common specters such as Ford, Toyota, Lexus, and even Honda and VW.
However, Ferrari is currently the talk of the show as they’ll be bringing three special vehicles to Goodwood. What exclusive models are going to be at the festival?
Ferrari P80/C
After nearly four years of development (the longest of any Ferrari one-off to date), this track-only Ferrari and its unique profile, carbon-fiber body, and blue Alcantara interior are making an appearance at Goodwood.
The car isn’t street legal, so it doesn’t matter that it doesn’t have normal-sized headlights, which help reduce its weight. Instead of a bumper, this car has a splitter which improves its aerodynamics.
With a huge spoiler and an interior that’s reminiscent of vintage Ferraris, we can’t help but wonder what this 710 hp beast feels like on the track, considering it gets to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds and has a top speed of over 200 mph.
F12tdf-based SP3JC
After two years in the making, Ferrari revealed the SP3JC. This vehicle is essentially an F12tdf, just without the roof. And, of course, glass in the hood so you can see the naturally-aspirated V12 engine, which puts out about 779 hp.
This car was made for John Collins—who specified that Ferrari create a “pure, uncompromising roadster” based on the F12tdf. Ferrari delivered. This car reflects Collins’ love for pop art, including the exterior bright blue exterior and the interior, which features blue leather with white trim.
Monza SP2
This Ferrari is part of the Italian automaker’s Icona series, which aims to create new vehicles inspired by classic models.
Similar to the SP3JC, it has a V12 engine and no roof—Ferrari says this vehicle is limited production (with only 500 available) and only for “dedicated clients and collectors”. The windscreen is gone, which we imagine would make traveling at high speeds a little windy, especially when its 0-60 time is a mere 2.9 seconds.
However, Ferrari says the car has a “virtual windshield”, which supposedly helps direct air away from the driver. The body is carbon fiber with scissor doors and the interior is a beautiful red color. Putting out 810 horsepower and 530 lb.-ft. of torque, it sort of makes sense that this vehicle goes for over $1.8 million.
As expected, Ferrari is including some over-the-top gems at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that we can’t wait to hear more about.
