If you’re a Ford fan, the 2019 Ranger is exciting news. Seeing this truck fitted with a Hennessey VelociRaptor package is even better news.
The VelociRaptor package includes a stainless steel cat-back exhaust and an engine upgrade that increases the horsepower from 270 to 360. Torque is increased as well from 310 to 440 lb.-ft.
While its frame and suspension are virtually the same as stock, Hennessey does outfit the Ranger with a four-inch lift and BF Goodrich all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels.
These performances upgrades make this truck faster than an F-150 Raptor according to a video released by Hennessey.
Going from 0-60 in just 4.9 seconds, the VelociRaptor Ranger is 2.5 seconds quicker than its stock version. In the video, you can clearly see there’s no competition between the two trucks.
When you opt for a VelociRaptor package from Hennessey, you’ll get all the upgrades we mentioned with exterior badging and interior headrests embroidered with the Hennessey logo. Also different for the exterior is a large LED light bar on the front.
Oh, and the VelociRaptor Ranger also comes with a winch, just in case you were planning on heading to Jurassic Park.
Hennessey is making 500 of these new Rangers with a price tag of $64,950. For those who already have a Ranger and want to add the VelociRaptor package, it’s $19,950.
