Watch Ken Block Drift 5 Jaw-Dropping Ford Cars Around The World

Forget everything you’ve seen in Fast and Furious. Ken Block sets a new standard for drifting and extreme driving in his new video.

GYMKHANA TEN: The Ultimate Tire Slaying Tour is a big collaboration project between Ken Block, Hoonigan, Ford, Forza Horizon, ToyoTires, Pennzoil, Can-am and Monster Energy.

The movie features 5 absolutely spectacular Ford vehicles, built to take the brutal punishment and push performance to the limit. Behind the wheel is popular professional driver Ken Block, widely recognized for his incredible driving skills and savage drift performances.

Block takes each vehicle to the absolute extreme as he weaves through specially prepared closed courses. In order of appearance we have:

WRC Fiesta

  • Model: 2018 Ford Fiesta
  • Engine: 1.6L Turbo Inline 4
  • Power output: 380 hp / 332 lb/ft (450 Nm)
  • Tires: Toyo Tires 245/40 R18

Block takes the Fiesta on a snow and ice course in LuleĂĄ, Sweden. He effortlessly maneuvers around a couple of snowmen and a real man enjoying a dip in the icy pool. He is joined for a couple of doughnuts around the pool by Oliver Soldberg – 16-year-old champion of the Nordic RX.

Hoonicorn V2

  • Model: 1965 Ford Mustang
  • Engine: 6.7L Twin Turbo V8
  • Power output: 1400 hp / 1250 lb/ft (1695 Nm)
  • Tires: Toyo Tires 295/30 R18

The iconic Mustang stretches limbs on a closed course in Detroit, Michigan. This is by far the most powerful car in the video. Coupled with the dry pavement, the Mustang generates so much smoke that Block and his stuntman are forced to wear filter masks.

Focus RS RX

  • Model: 2017 Ford Focus
  • Engine: 2.0L Turbo Inline 4
  • Power output: 650 hp / 590 lb/ft (800 Nm)
  • Tires: Toyo Tires 245/40 R18

Ken Block drives the focus around the tight interweaving streets of Guanajuato, Mexico. The stone-paved streets and tight corners are no problem for the star driver. The side shots of him missing obstacles by no more than a couple of inches prove just how much control he has over his vehicle.

The Cossie

  • Model: 1991 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
  • Engine: 2.0L Turbo Inline 4
  • Power output: 645 hp / 527 lb/ft (715 Nm)
  • Tires: Toyo Tires 225/40 R18

The Escort goes on a spin in an empty industrial building in LA, California. There are several jumps in the sequence, including a very tight and potentially dangerous one between two buildings. Several night shots show Ken Block grinding on bare wheels.

Hoonitruck

  • Model: 1977 Ford F-150
  • Engine: 3.5L Twin Turbo V6
  • Power output: 914 hp / 702 lb/ft (952 Nm)
  • Tires: Toyo Tires 315/35 R20

Last but definitely coolest of all was the Hoonitruck. Ken Block takes the F-150 on Route 66 in Shamrock, Texas. The low-riding pickup performs phenomenally on the wide road, making several spins around and under a farming tractor and a couple of gas stations.
