More 2020 Supra photos are leaking ahead of the car’s launch. Last time we posted about the 2020 Toyota Supra, a sneaky fan managed to snap a few pictures of the car loaded in an unsecured trailer.
This time the leak comes directly from Toyota itself.
On Friday, members of the SupraMKV forums discovered that Toyota.de would distribute the photos in an automated email, after subscribing to the website’s newsletter. All you had to do was submit your email to receive news about when the 2020 Supra becomes available.
Apparently, Toyota.de would then send you an automated email with these new beautiful renderings in red. In fact, we know they are renderings because they use the same background as the Toyota Supra GR concept images, shared on Toyota’s website.
Several members of SupraMKV confirmed the event, but as of today, the newsletter contains different renderings of the Supra in its camouflage wrap we’re used to seeing already.
Our best guess is someone in Toyota loaded up the wrong set of files and only discovered their mistake as the photos circulated on the Internet. With no official comment from Toyota, all we can do is speculate and enjoy the beautiful renderings.
