Novitec is performance tuning company that works with some of the world’s most wanted cars. They make it their business to take Ferraris or a Lamborghinis and push them even further.
The company’s newest project is the Ferrari 812 Superfast.
The car first debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Its own maker describes it as “the fastest and most powerful Ferrari yet.” It’s driven by a 6.5-liter F140 V12 engine, producing 800 hp and 530 lb/ft of torque.
We don’t have any information about the specific performance of the Novitec version. However, they offer all-around improvements to the car’s aerodynamics, exhaust, and handling.
The exhaust system features new mufflers, a set of Sportmetal catalysts or catalyst replacement pipes and Y-pipes. Novitec also offers polished tailpipes with a mesh insert. All of this comes with custom electronics to integrate the setup with the car’s control software. The exhaust is available in low-weight Inconel alloy or stainless steel.
Novitec offers its proprietary wheel and tire combinations matched to each individual vehicle. They fit with the factory installed tire-pressure sensors and center caps. The forged aluminum wheels come with straight or directional spokes and a handful of color and gloss options.
The suspension includes lowering springs and a hydraulic adjustment that lowers the front axle by 40 mm. Customers can also change the track width of their 812 with a set of aluminum spacers and titan bolts.
Finally, Novitec offers a set of clear carbon aerodynamic surfaces. These components are tested and optimized in a wind tunnel. They improve air flow around the bumpers, air outlets, and the rear spoiler.
Overall, the build is more subtle than Novitec’s twin-turbo Ferraris in the past. But we should still expect significant improvements in performance.
Novitec Group formed in 1989 in Germany and began working on performance tuning some of most cherished car brands. After 30 years, their portfolio includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, and Tesla.
