Ford Ranger – An Outdoorsy Upstart

A classic truck, the new Ford Rangers offer buyers a whole lot more than previous models. Although still smaller than the F-series, the Ranger boasts a ton of new features for 2019. Most additions are safety related, like pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, land departure warning, and blind spot monitoring. Want to take it off-road? The Ranger will have an off-road package including shocks, suspension, upgraded tires, and a Terrain Management System (upgraded shocks). Ford is so confident this car will dazzle it constructed a rigorous off-road test course and invited the press to witness how it performs.
The Ranger also has a 2.3 liter Ecoboost engine. With a 10 speed transmission, the two-wheel drive is the same as what you’d find on the F-series pickup. This is a powerful truck with multiple capabilities.
