The Ferrari 488 GTB is the seventh successor to the powerful and flamboyant V6 Dino. Over the years, this super car became appreciably different for a variety of reasons. One of the main reasons is a significant technical change in the form of a 3.9 liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
This enables the car to achieve substantial gains in its peak power as well as torque, as compared to its predecessor, the distinctive V8 that powered the Italia 458, thereby imparting the necessary improvement in fuel economy as well as lower emissions.

The Ferrari 488 GTB Design
The 488 continues with its aluminum monocoque structure at a time when rivals are using carbon fiber. The construction is made of a series of alloys with different thicknesses. As to the suspension, double wishbones in aluminum do the job, while multiple longitudinal and transverse links remain at the rear, in the same way as the Italia 458.
It is perhaps the best looking Ferrari of all time. It comes close to being as incredible as its Lamborghini rivals.

Performance
The Ferrari 488 GTB is by far the best turbocharged gas engine that is being manufactured today. The engine is also extraordinary for its low lag and the way it compellingly generates speed to reach the top end.
It is by limiting the engine’s torque that Ferrari gains this, beginning with the low revs in low gears. Owing to this, the 488 GTB can move from 30 to 50mph in a matter of 2.2 seconds, the same time it takes to move from 100 to 120mph, in itself a rare thing.
To conclude, its low slung body, instant gearshifts, and highly adaptable brakes make the Ferrari 488 GTB easily maneuverable on even bumpy roads, without causing any driver discomfort.
