Bluebonnet Trail, Texas
You are going to want to hit this trail between March and May, as this is when the wild bluebonnets are in bloom. Between Austin and Houston, you will find this exceptional landscape that shows off the beauty of nature. If you begin your journey from Austin, you will pass through a chain of seven interconnected lakes on the Colorado River, including Lake Buchanan. Lake Buchanan, for those that haven’t heard of it, is a wilderness resort area hugely popular to fisherman and artists for its abundant wildlife and idyllic views.
