10. Chevrolet Impala
Impalas from the ’50s and ’60s are highly-sought as muscle cars, but now, they are just about as plain as any other four-door sedan in the neighborhood. Despite its understated appearance, there were a total of 9,487 Impala thefts in one year. This could be because the car sells used for a reasonable price used (between $10,000 and $15,000 for 2015 models). The Chevy Impala is especially popular up north; it was the most stolen car in Michigan in 2008. The original MSRP was approximately $22,000 for the LS, and a surprising $30,000+ for a complete package LTZ. However, now the cars sell used for around $6,000. They’re a popular choice for cheap resale.
