Since 1974, the Corolla has been one of the most popular vehicles worldwide. Prior to then, American muscle cars were all the rage, but by the 70s Toyota had created a safer, superior vehicle that even piqued the interest of American car shoppers. The report gave a total of 12,337 thefts in the States, proving the Corolla is still one of the country’s most popular vehicles.
The most popular Corolla is the 2015Â model. That year, over 700 new Corollas were stolen, along with 10,547 2014 Corollas (a whopping of 3% from the total Corollas sold worldwide in 2014). Four years later, the 2015 Corolla sells between $10,000 for the L model and $14,000 for the S PLus.
