It’s not surprising that Ford manufactures the most stolen pickup truck in America. Ford was America’s original car manufacturer, and the U.S. has held its loyalty to the brand for over a century. While it’s no surprise that Ford Pickups (most notably the F-150) are the most stolen trucks in America, it is surprising that no other Ford models top this list. You would think with the popularity of the classic Mustang, and Ford’s sensible four-door sedans, that one would be just as popular to steal than the trucks. However, no other Ford car can beat the 35,105 thefts reported for their pickups. Of course, not even Ford could beat this next overseas manufacturer in total car thefts in America.
