Since the days of the imaginary sci-fi flying car, concept cars have captured our imaginations. Will cars fly one day? Probably so. Engineers are already developing glass cars, solar-powered cars, magnet cars, and more. Of course, you won’t see most of these cars on the local highway any time soon, but they herald the future. You will most likely own a driverless electric car within the next ten or twenty years. Let’s take a look at what is to come:
The GAC Enverge: Drive 370 Miles On One Charge

The Chinese automaker GAC unveiled the Enverge at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, and unless political issues (tariffs) prevent importation, you could see the Enverge on the street in late 2019. GAC is working to open a facility in the United States in the near future.
The Enverge is touted to be suitable to be a great urban vehicle with off-road capabilities.
The all-electric Enverge has a 71kWh battery is designed to let customers travel approximately 370 miles on one charge. Other standard features include narrowly angled headlights and voice-activated gull-wing doors. Younger buyers may like the storage area for drones and other gadgets. The front includes a wide digital screen for the driver’s instrument panel. Passengers in the rear get full AR (augmented reality) features.
If GAC gets its way, you may be able to buy one of these soon.
