A New Flagship For The Luxury Automaker: The Lexus LF-1 Limitless
Lexus is calling this its new flagship vehicle, a large SUV, the LF-1 Limitless. It may replace the LS as the flagship vehicle. Although it was previewed at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit there are no powertrain facts known yet. It could be all-electric or a hybrid. Lexus did say it rides on a rear-drive chassis. Designed in California, it features Lexus’s signature spindle grille but on the LF-1 it extends back into the hood of the car. Other interesting styling features include a split-rear spoiler, popout door handles, and a massive panoramic glass roof. The interior is equally luxurious, with seating for four. Most of the buttons have been replaced with motion activated controls. Backseat passengers enjoy the exact same seats as those in front, and each passenger gets their own screen so they can adjust climate and entertainment options.
