A Land Yacht With Style: The Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 Cabriolet
Mercedes-Benz claims this “defines the ultimate in luxury of the future” and its futuristic styling (which somehow manages to also look retro) and enormous front and rear guarantee it will get noticed. The Vision 6 Cabriolet is 18 feet long and almost seven-feet wide. The two-seater electric car features a 550 kW drive system, and it will go over 200 miles on a charge, according to Mercedes-Benz. Like a sports car, it will go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in four seconds.
The interior feels like a nod to the past, with controls that are digital but have actual needles sweeping over them, in what the company calls “hyperanalogue” instruments. The truly sad thing about this car is it may never reach the production stage. It’s a pure concept car.
