1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Re-creation
This 1970 Dodge Challenger has undergone a full top to bottom rebuild in 2015. It received numerous upgrades in performance and handling, new paint, new interior, and even a new Kenwood sound setup. It’s practically a new custom car under an iconic body.
The Challenger is powered by a top-of-the-line Chrysler Big-block 440 Six Pack – a 7.2-liter, V8 engine, boosted by 3×2-barrel Holley carburetors. At its peak, the engine produces 390 hp and 490 lb/ft torque.
Behind it sits a brand new 727, 3-speed automatic transmission sending the power to a rebuilt Chrysler 8-¾ inch rear axle with 3.71:1 final drive ratio and limited slip differential.
Completely rebuilt steering and suspension and upgraded electrical wiring.
With Ion aluminum wheels and brand new Cooper tires, this 1970 Challenger is fully prepared for those power launches from the stop light.
