From the bull to the stallion, the Italians continue to dazzle. This time with the wonderful 365 GTB/4 Daytona, released between the same years as the Miura, and in direct competition of Lamborghini’s supercar. The Colombo V12 was the proud owner of 4.4 liters, double overhead camshafts, and 352 hp. The traditional engine in the front, power to the back setup gave this grand tourer a top speed of 174 mph, and perhaps unsurprisingly, pushed it just past the mark made by the lambo. The name “Daytona” was allegedly bestowed by media personalities commemorating Ferrari’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona.
