In Spain, One Pair Of Eyeglasses Is Not Enough
Anyone who wears eyeglasses knows how difficult life gets when they’re not around. Apparently, the Spanish police really want you to wear them while driving on their roads, requiring all drivers who wear eyeglasses to have an extra pair in the car, just in case something happens to their regular pair. Apparently they did recently realize it’s a bit of an exaggeration and now the law states that you won’t be required to show a spare pair to the police officer in case you get pulled over, but in case the pair you use gets broken for any reason you will be fined for driving without your glasses. They do let foreigners off the hook, though, to their credit.
